The Rx.com Mod Team has created this Service Play sub-forum in order to supply an area for Rx Service Play Posters to expand upon their posting topics without creating a logjam in the main forum where the three principle threads are maintained..

Posters can track services here if they care to but we will need any trackers to do so in an accurate and civil manner. We did not create this area for posters to ridicule or bash any services..

You can also discuss who is hot and who is not. The general state of the pay for plays industry and any other subject or topic related to service plays.

You can also create individual threads about specific services and discuss them freely but civilly. Again bashing and abusive treatment of any services will not be tolerated.

Please remember, this forum is not here for regular posters who cap their own games to post ther daily plays. Please use our individual sport forums to post your plays. Professional cappers (those that sell plays) must remain in the Site Promotion Forum.

The Rx.com will not tolerate posters that post false records of any services they track. Please be truthful if you decide to track a particular service.

Lastly The Rx Moderators are appealing to you our everyday posters to report any promotional threads or posts that are made by services or individual touts. No links or contact information to an individual service will be allowed. Just the name of the service. Please report any threads or posts that are promotional attempts by services and touts to use this forum to promote themselves..

Posters can easily report a promotional post by using the triangular Report-a-Post Icon at the bottom left of all post boxes. The poster name of any poster who reports a post that is out of line will be kept strictly confidential.

I will leave this thread open for a month to take questions and do my best to answer them. I will check in daily but am off on Wednesday and Thursday.

I hope this additional Service Play Forum will satisfy those posters that would like to widen the scope of topics relating to service plays and the industry in general to have their own threads. Mods will be liberal as possible regarding topics but this forum was specifically created to allow you more freedom to express your ideas regarding service plays and related subject matter. No off topic threads will be allowed.

Thank you, wilheim

BIG AL MCMORDIE

100% (16-0 ATS) STEELERS/RAVENS WINNER

3* Baltimore Ravens

Pitt since 2002 AT HOME when priced at -1.5 to -3.5 is 0-16-1 ATS, considering that OUTSIDE of that price range they are 38-21 at home over the same period, makes the 0-16 look unreal.

BANG THE BOOK

Saturday's Best NFL Bets

Baltimore Ravens at Pittsburgh Steelers (-3, 36.5)

You won’t find two teams that hate each other more than this. Once again, the AFC playoffs features an NFL betting battle that will be a real slugfest in the Steel City, as the Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers will meet for the third time this season.

Baltimore picked a great time to put together its best game of the season in the first round of the playoffs last week against the Kansas City Chiefs, scoring a 30-7 ‘W’ that was incredibly emphatic on both sides of the ball. Save an ill advised pitch off of an INT and a 41 yard burst for a TD by RB Jamaal Charles, the Ravens made absolutely no mistakes on defense. Of course, the offense made sure that it controlled the rock and kept KC off of the field on offense, as it possessed the ball for almost 42 minutes of the game. QB Joe Flacco was sacked four times though, which is a terrible omen for a team that has had troubles protecting its signal caller all season long. Rushing the ball sometimes looks difficult, but RB Ray Rice did have over 1,800 yards this year between rushing and receiving, and he is clearly going to be the man that Pittsburgh needs to key in on to stop both in the rushing and passing games. Rice scored the last TD of the first half that essentially took the wind out of Kansas City’s sails in the Wild Card round of the playoffs.

Pittsburgh has been here and done this before, and it knows that it is going to need to bring its A Game to topple the Ravens out of the postseason. The Steelers have had some real trials and tribulations at home this season, losing to all of the other three teams left standing in the postseason. The only wins against playoff teams all season long were the crucial road win against the Baltimore Ravens that essentially won the AFC North, and the ‘W’ against the Atlanta Falcons way back in Week 1. Aside from that, Pittsburgh went 0-4 both SU and ATS against postseason powerhouses. QB Ben Roethlisberger has already won two Super Bowls as a starting quarterback, and if he can win this one as well, it will be a real turnaround for a man that spent the first four games of the season suspended for off the field conduct problems. Big Ben threw for 3,200 yards and had a 17/5 TD/INT ratio, and he generated the game winning drive against this Baltimore defense in Week 13 that changed the course of the entire season.

The Steelers are great. We have no doubt about that. But are they really the better team in this game? The Ravens stayed with these guys step for step against every single opponent this season, and it felt like they had the slightly tougher schedule this year, especially with the timing of certain games. LB Ray Lewis and company won’t go down without a fight, and we feel like this could be one of these 16-14 slugfests that could go either way. We’ll take the points.

NFL PLAYOFF PICK: Baltimore Ravens +3.5

Green Bay Packers at Atlanta Falcons (-2.5, 43)

Saturday night is going to be one of the most interesting nights of the year in NFL betting action. In spite of the fact that the Green Bay Packers are the No. 6 seed in the NFC and the Atlanta Falcons are the No. 1, there is a lot of speculation that this is the most likely upset of the NFL betting weekend when the two teams meet in the Georgia Dome.

There’s a new hero right now in Title Town, and it is RB James Starks. The rushing game has been down for the majority of the year this year for the Packers, and all of a sudden, a man that had played in just three games in his rookie campaign busted onto the scene against the Philadelphia Eagles in the biggest game of the year and rushed for 123 yards on 23 carries. It was amazing to think that QB Aaron Rodgers only threw for 180 yards in a winning game in the playoffs, but that’s exactly what happened against Philly. WR Greg Jennings only had one catch in the entire game, also something very uncharacteristic. However, Rodgers threw three TDs to three different receivers and did a fantastic job of managing the game. The defense for Green Bay did give up a bunch of yards to QB Michael Vick and company, but when push came to shove, it only allowed 16 points. DB Tramon Williams had the only turnover on the day, and it came at a great time with just 33 seconds left to seal up the victory.

Meanwhile, the Falcons have been sitting and waiting for this game, as they earned the top seed in the NFC playoffs. They are going to have to be beaten at the Georgia Dome by an NFC foe if they are to be kept out of the Super Bowl this year. That’s something that QB Matt Ryan has only had happen to him twice in his career, and just once by an opponent from this conference. Ryan had an MVP type of season this year, throwing for 3,705 yards and 28 TDs against just nine picks, but he had a lot of help to do it in the form of RB Michael Turner and WR Roddy White. White was Ryan’s top target on the year, and he was the top receiver in the NFL to boot. He had an NFL best 115 receptions for 1,389 yards and 10 trips to the end zone. Turner led the league in carries with 334, and he turned those touches into 1,371 yards and a dozen scores. All three, along with TE Tony Gonzalez are going to the Pro Bowl this year. The surefire Hall of Fame tight end caught 70 passes for 656 yards and six TDs in 2010.

It just seems awfully ridiculous that the No. 1 seed in the conference is only laying 2.5 points at home against the last team into the dance. Green Bay might be a thorn in Atlanta’s side for this entire game, but when push comes to shove, it is the Falcons that are going to be flying high.
